Camp Hale Permanent Endowment
Fund
The CHAA Finance Committee is comprised of Peter Thompson, Committee
Chair, Kern Tyler and Ira Kligerman. Peter and Kern are investment
professionals at BlackRock and John Hancock respectively. Ira is
an insurance profesional with Connell and Curley Insurance Agency.
Supporting the committee is Jim Farnham, who is focusing on the
legal areas of fundraising for not for profit organizations.
While Boston Private Bank and Trust is responsible for the investment
management of CHAA's Permanent Endowment Fund, the CHAA Finance
Committee oversees the Fund. The scope of the Committee's responsibilities
include the following:
- Monitoring performance
- Monitoring fees
- Development and annual review of Investment Policy Statement
"IPS"(8/06)
- Verifying that investment management complies with IPS
- Effecting transactions in a timely manner and in accordance to
CHAA's Fiduciary Policy (Ammended 12/05)
- Reporting to CHAA Board of Directors and membership
