What a wonderful day it was. Chief John smiled
upon us and skirted the storms away. Nothing but
big puffy clouds with an occasional rain drop
or two and a crack of thunder here and there.
A good time was had by all with happy faces all
around. Besides the loss of the softball game
all the kids had a ball. The only negative was
the abundant lack of alumni brethren. But I'm
sure all the last minute scheduling changes had
a big part in it. Still it was a great day. Special
thanks goes out to Jimmy D and the family for
holding up our end, to Butch and Jeanie Kurkjian
for pitching in to help, and to Jerry, the camps
maintenance man, who helped me burn some burgers.
Big thanks to the camp staff and the people of
Center Sandwich for making it a fun day. ...Gaz

Hale Alumni Association through it's Charitable
Donation Program, which provides assistance to
organizations that are important to it's employees
and the communities in which BlackRock does business
around the globe.
