What is the Camp Hale Alumni Association (CHAA)?
Established in 1925, the Camp Hale Alumni Association’s mission is to sustain Camp Hale for future generations of campers to enjoy. We are a completely volunteer run organization. The Camp Hale Alumni Association (CHAA) is a legal 501©(3) 100% volunteer non profit.
Our mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance Camp Hale as a place where young people may obtain a nurturing, safe, joyful, and educational experience.
How can I become a member of the Camp Hale Alumni Association? Do I have to be a former camper to be a member?
All are welcome to join the Camp Hale Alumni Association. You do not have to be a former camper to join.

Where do the funds go?
All funds raised by the Camp Hale Alumni Association go directly back to support Camp Hale and the kids. A general gift can be made to the Camp Hale Alumni Association, a gift to support the endowment fund, or a gift can be restricted to the Dushku Fund to support camper tuitions each summer.

Does the Camp Hale Alumni Association own Camp Hale?
No, Camp Hale is owned and operated by the United South End Settlements (U.S.E.S.) and we have remained close partners for many years. The Camp Hale Alumni Association helps support U.S.E.S. specifically through the sustainment of Camp Hale for generations of campers to enjoy.
